Don't feel bad for Dan Shaughnessy. How was he supposed to know that the final hours of baseball's 2011 regular season would turn out to be one of the most dramatic and astonishing finishes the sport has ever seen? Otherwise, the Boston Globe columnist would have held his tongue when, during the Red Sox/Orioles rain delay, he predicted the Rays could not and would not overcome a 7-run 8th inning deficit to the Yankees.
